We had a great time during recess today because we had an opportunity to play GAGA BALL! We are loving our new GAGA PIT on our playground! It was a beautiful day for recess!
We also enjoyed a special treat during our reading time today. A book and a snack is a great way to end our school day on a Friday!
Tomorrow is comfy, cozy day! Dress in comfy clothes and bring slippers if you wish!
We will have our unit 4 math test tomorrow(Friday). We reviewed in class today and the review will go home tonight. Please review how to name a figure, diagonals, what congruent means, and symmetry.
Tomorrow is 11-11-11!! I think this is a pretty cool thing and we must celebrate! We will be stopping whatever we are doing at 11:11 to do a few fun things to celebrate. It will be so fun!
Tomorrow is comfy day! Dress like a P.E. teacher and we’ll also enjoy some popcorn for popcorn Friday.
FRIDAY IS POPCORN DAY AND HAT DAY
National Hat Day falls on Saturday, January 15. To celebrate this important event, we would like all students and staff to wear their favorite hat on Friday, January 14–our POPCORN DAY.
Hats serve many purposes. They are used for protection, health and as a fashion statement. Hats can also help us to define our interests and individuality.
Friday, January 14 is a chance to make a statement and to display you favorite headgear.
Did you know? More body heat is lost from your head than other parts of the body. So, wearing a hat goes a long way towards staying warm on a cold January day.
In celebration of Amanda’s birthday, she (with a thanks to her parents!) will be bringing in pizza for the class during lunch time. If your child would rather not have pizza, he/she may order lunch.
Please keep this in mind as you schedule lunches for the week!
