On Monday we will have an all school Pajama Day. I told the students that they may also bring in a small stuffed animal if they would like to.
We will preview books at the book fair on Tuesday. Your child will come home with a wish list. Our purchase day is on Thursday. Please send money in with your child if they wish to purchase. Thank you!
We will begin a new unit in math that will cover word problems. We will also begin our science and social studies switch again as well.
****Our Valentine Party will be on Thursday the 14th from 12:50-1:45. I will be sending a class list home so your third grader can address Valentine cards. Please have your third grader make a Valentine box to set at their desk. A smaller size box will work well or even a bag will be fine. Usually a tissue box works well since it already has an opening. The decorating will be done at home. Get creative! Just make sure the box is here next Thursday!
****Mrs. Reagan recently complimented our class on our outstanding behavior in music, art, P.E. and in the hallways. She said that we have earned an extra ‘chill time’. As a class we decided that we would like to end our day on Thursday (tomorrow) with some movie time. With that movie time it was voted that we wear pajamas and bring in small blankets and/or stuffed animals.

Gifts ($3-$5) for the gift exchange were due today. Please let me know if this is a problem. I have extra gifts and I’m happy to share. Also, don’t forget to send in $1.00 for the party.
Wednesday is the day to wear Holiday gear. Find those santa hats or reindeer antlers and all your red and green!
Friday is our party! Your third grader may wear their pajamas!!

This is a reminder of our Holiday Party this Friday the 16th from 9:15-10:30. I have contacted those that signed up to volunteer. If your third grader has not brought in the $2 or gift for the gift exchange please send those in as soon as possible.
