We are looking forward to another great week in third grade!

This week we will begin unit 4 in math. We will study symmetry, congruent figures, and right, acute, and obtuse, angles. This is a shorter unit and we are hoping to be ready for our test on Friday. I will let you know if this changes. We will also have our spelling dictation assessment on Friday. Please continue to help your child practice the words at home. Also, we will have our social studies assessment today.

We continue to work on learning new strategies as we work on our personal narrative writing. We have also been talking about making mental images as we read.

Also, Please remember to send your child to school with warm winter clothing so he or she will be prepared for outdoor recess. Thanks!
