We will have our Core Democratic Values test tomorrow! With this unit we have discussed public issues, wrote about a public issue, and learned about core democratic values. A review paper is coming home today. Along with that is a chart explaining the core democratic values we learned about. Both of these pages were completed together in class. My math group will be having our unit test on Friday. This unit covers area and perimeter. We will be reviewing all this week and practicing solving area and perimeter word problems independently. I have been encouraging the students to draw pictures, think about what they know about area and perimeter, and write equations first. I’d like the students to practice thinking on their own so as you help at home, please prompt in those ways. Thanks!
