The last week!

I cannot believe it is the last week of third grade! We’ve really had a great year and learned so much! I will miss this great group of students!

Here’s a few things to remember this week:

-Science test tomorrow! (Tuesday)

-We will have 2nd/3rd grade field day on Thursday. Please send your child with tennis shoes and a water bottle. Sunscreen too!

-Our last day is Friday. Dismissal is at 1:00.

Dear Third Grade Families, 
I have truly enjoyed having your third grader in class this year! Thank you so much for sharing your child with me. It has been so fun to grow together as learners and we have made great memories. I am so proud of each and every child! I’m so thankful for each of their talents and abilities and am glad they have been a part of our class this year. 
Thank you for your wonderful support this year and helping your third grader do their best. I appreciate you!

Our Last Week~

Wow! I can’t believe it is our last week of third grade. Wasn’t it just September?!
We’ve really had a great year and have enjoyed learning together.
Here are a few things to remember this week:

Tuesday:  Fraction test

Thursday:  Last Day!  (full day)  3:40 dismissal

2nd and 3rd grade field day in the morning. Please help your child
 remember to wear tennis shoes and to bring a water bottle.
We will also have our end of the year school store. Each student will have a chance to spend some of their tickets they have earned in class this year. 

Please look for papers and writing folders to come home this week. It’s fun to look back at how much progress has been made since the beginning of the year! Thanks so much for all your support this year. I have truly enjoyed having your third grader in class. Have a great summer!

Field Day tomorrow!

We have 2nd and 3rd grade field day tomorrow! Please remind your child to wear shoes that they will be able to run around in. They may also bring a water bottle and it would be a good idea to put sunscreen on in the morning. Our lunch schedule will be the same.

It should be a great day!

Science Test

I can’t believe we are in the last week of school!  We have been working so hard! This week we will celebrate learning multiplication by having our ice cream sundaes. We will also have field day on Thursday. What a fun week!

Our science test on rocks and minerals and fossils will be tomorrow. Instead of one larger test, the test will be broken down into two shorter tests. One on rocks and minerals and one on fossils. We have reviewed on Friday and today. Please help your third grader to remember to study tonight.

Our Final Week

I can’t believe this is our final week together! It’s sad, but summer is something exciting to look forward to.

Tomorrow we will be meeting with some second graders. They have written us letters asking us about third grade. We have written them back and will share with them all the great things about third grade.

Wednesday is 2nd and 3rd grade field day! We will be outside all day. Please send a water bottle with your child and have them wear tennis shoes and load on that sunscreen too.

On Thursday, we will do our final school store. This is when the third graders can spend all their tickets they have earned this year.

Also on Thursday, we will dismiss at 1:00. It’s been a great year and thank you parents for all of your support. You have fabulous third graders!!

A Few Things…

Thursday is our last day. Dismissal is at 1:00. We will eat lunch at school and your child may still order lunch. Don’t forget to wear tie-dye shirts.

It has been a wonderful year! I have loved spending third grade with your child. Each student has become such an important part of my life. Thank you for sharing your child with me. The children have done great things this year and we have had a great time learning together.
