Economics Quiz

We will have an Economics quiz tomorrow (Tuesday). Over the last few days we have been learning about economic activities of Michigan. We have learned that Manufacturing and Agriculture are two important economic activities of Michigan. We have talked about the goods that are produced from these economic activities and have identified the places on the map that grow or manufacture these goods

For example:    Manufacturing in Michigan produces:   furniture, baby food, cereal, cars, etc.
Agriculture in Michigan produces: cherries, blueberries, apples, celery, etc.

Please help your child to understand the important Economic Activities and goods that they produce.

Social Studies Test!

A review sheet is coming home tonight for the Social Studies test tomorrow. Please help your third grader by discussing the review questions. We have been talking about manufacturing in Michigan.

Math 11-1 is also homework for tonight.
