Hi Parents, 

We have started a new unit in math. We will be studying polygons, area, and perimeter. We have started by learning some vocabulary words in class. Be looking for some vocabulary study cards to come home soon. We have learned:  ray, angle, right angle, acute angle, obtuse angle, and quadrilateral.

Tonight’s homework is for your third grader to describe a right angle, acute angle, and obtuse angle. Write the descriptions or definitions on a piece of paper and bring it to school tomorrow to turn it in. It would be great if they could add pictures as well!
